Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome one and all to the Freakshow Projects.
An artistic studio producing unique hand-made pictures, prints, T-shirts and other various creative curiosities.
Established by UK graphic artist Eelus (Lee Pennington), the shop is now much more than just the place to buy his sell-out screen print editions, with all kinds of collectable, wearable, ephemeral and totally unique pictures and objects becoming available on a regular basis.
Working from a studio in Brighton with friend and illustrator Ben Southan, the 2 of them have formed a creative partnership based on a love of picture making and story telling. From within the Freak Show Studio, they will work on all kinds of projects, the results of which will be available to buy right here. And like any good Freakshow, expect the unexpected, you never know what will appear next.
Eelus
A graphic artist from Wigan in the UK, Eelus has exhibited work in a number of successful solo shows including a sell out show in NYC and has painted and exhibited alongside some of the world's best contemporary artists in group shows worldwide. He likes disgusting horror movies, poorly executed taxidermy, alien conspiracies and French Bulldogs.
Ben
UK-based artist and illustrator Benjamin Southan is best known for his original take on the paper cut medium. His technique of drawing directly with a scalpel is intuitive, visceral and instantly recognisable. He likes his eggs black and his ink scrambled.
